Brands don't start with design. They start with attitude.
Let’s talk about brands. That’s what we thought. So that’s what we did. Together with NORDSONNE IDENTITY, we held an internal workshop at fivekit and deliberately took a step back—away from the execution and toward the core.
What really defines a brand?
And even more importantly: How do you spot the gaps in a briefing that could later turn into opportunities?
That’s exactly what we talked about. Discussed. Questioned. And sometimes even reimagined.

{Anchor/Brand Management for Events and Promotional Video Productions}
Branding for events and promotional video productions
In almost all of our projects, we work with and for brands. Sometimes on stage. Sometimes in a space. Sometimes on screen.
Whether it's a trade show presence, an event concept, motion design, or traditional promotional video production, the ultimate goal is always to bring a brand to life.
Not just visible. You can feel it.

That’s why, in our first studio session, we deliberately focused on the theoretical foundations: brand strategy, brand understanding, and brand identity.
The key question here is:
How do we bring brands to life in a cohesive and compelling way, both in physical spaces and in moving images?

{Anchor/Learning as Part of Our Work}
Learning as part of our work
With the Studio Sessions, we at fivekit are launching a new format.
Every three months. One theme. A shared perspective that looks beyond the horizon.
Sometimes inspiration. Sometimes theory. Sometimes practice.
But always with the same goal in mind: to improve as a team. And sometimes that means going back to basics—the things that underpin every good idea.
A big thank you to Ann-Kristin Schlüschen and Gina Lange-Hermstädt from NORDSONNE IDENTITY for organizing the workshop.
