Little Monsters

For the FRITZ! campaign, we personified the topic of data security and had little monsters move into a digital home as silent roommates. By combining live-action footage with AI-generated characters, we created visuals that work across all channels and simply let the message speak for itself.

Little monsters for big data security at FRITZ!

Data security is a dry subject, so we made it visual. The little data monsters serve as tangible symbols of what you’d rather not have within your own four walls: prying eyes. By combining live-action footage with AI-generated characters, we created figures that interact naturally with the actors and tell a story without requiring viewers to wade through thick manuals. The production was designed as a hybrid approach. This meant that even during filming, we had to know exactly where the digital roommates would be positioned in the room later on. The goal was to bridge the gap between hands-on craftsmanship on set and technical post-production. Each scene was planned so that it not only works in the classic landscape format but also looks great in the vertical 9:16 aspect ratio for social media.Instead Film just a single Film , an entire system of assets was created. This ranges fromFilm attention to short clips and banners intended to convey technical understanding. The goal was a package that works across all channels without losing the core of the message. The team led by Ricardo Mählmann and Christoph Gräfenstein ensured that the look remains human and approachable despite the digital influences. Sebastian Schäffer brought the monsters to life in post-production, while Anne Lewald’s set design created the perfect setting in the studio. The result is a project set in the year 2026 that demonstrates how to make abstract technology understandable by adding a touch of character.
